Greetings Adventurers,

Work continues on the Grim Gazette games as we polish them off ready for production, everything still currently on schedule!

One of my favourite things is when we have new artwork to share with you and in this months update we have some haunting illustrations to show you! Mizer has been hard at work fleshing out the halls of the Haunted Manor and the terrifying denizens that call it home. Here's a little taste of the terrors that reside there.

The shadows will rise in 2026

Greetings adventurers,

The team is back from our well-needed break, having consumed too many mince pies and played not enough games with our families. Our focus now is continuing on the gazettes, ready for the release later in 2026.

The adventures are being finalised, and final playtesting will be taking place over the coming 

weeks, before moving into editing and then the manufacturing phase - currently everything is on schedule!

Opportunities for Early Access: "Nightwatch" Coming Together

Thank you to all our grim gothic loving supporters. 

The team have been hard at work on (amongst several things, like the new Ion Heart Pins) the Grim Gazette games. So much so, in fact, that Nightwatch has gone through at least 6 more variations on its original draft!

We've been revising the balancing of the Watch, as well as adding more world-building lore to the Rogue's Gallery of crooks and killers, and the strange Beats of the Old Smoke that you'll be unlucky enough to visit. We've also thrown in a few "friends" to spice up your career:

But with everything we add, we find its even more important to refine and leave spaces for what the player gets to bring to the table.

"The most important thing we're working on is making the world feel real, and established, but then letting the player be the one who breathes life into it. It's a solo game, so we really want you to have that ownership of your experience with it." Adam Holloway, lead writer of Nightwatch

If you want to see more of Nightwatch and spend some time in its dark and deadly world, then you're in luck. We're hoping to organise some closed and exclusive playtests of this game very soon.

Thank you for all your support to bring the Grim Gazette to life. We can't wait to get some books out there and get playing. 

We're going to be working in the background getting some final bits ready, and then we will be sending out surveys and to prepare for sending the pledge manager live! Keep an eye out for an update in the future, as we will make an announcement when we have a firm launch date in place.
